Shoulda planned ahead. They warned you Igneighteen would be a sellout. :-(
I decided that I would dedicate my first ATmega328 to be a programmer for the ATtiny85. Up next, a ZIF socket to eliminate yet a few more tentacles from this beast beautiful mother ship.
Really looking forward to getting a wifi shield so i can cut the cord and go mobile.
After laboring over some installation troubles with the TouchOSC application for my iPod, along with the associated software required to interface it to my Arduino, I finally was able to bridge the gap between my iPod and my Arduino. I do believe they are going to be good friends! Much thanks to the tutorial by Sparkfun and the video by Brian Jackson, @Jaxzin.
It's is a good idea to make temperatrue sensor more remote with fine wire leads. This should increase the accuracy of the LM35 sensor too, because they tend to sense the temperature of thier leads.
My maker thought it would be funny to put this f***ing heat sink on my head! He said it would help my temperature sensor "equilibrate."
My brand new Ethernet shield came in the mail Saturday mid-day!
Dabbling with this new hardware through the afternoon quickly became an obsession, leading me to the early morning hour of 3 AM! Bwahahaha! I was determined to have this Arduino tweeting before I went to bed, and in the end, I was able to get my new mistress to tweet out the temperature. Follow its "agonizingly trivial Twitter updates" at @tekduino.... or don't. You won't miss too much if you don't.
Somebody open a window, it's HOT up in this bitch! (Pardon my binary, I should have my mouth washed with 2s and 3s.) http://post.ly/206vo
